Proposal 1: Constitutional Convention Question
A yes vote means
A yes vote calls a constitutional convention. Michigan would elect 148 delegates in 2027, one from each state House and Senate district, to draft a general revision of the state constitution. Whatever they produce would go back to voters for approval or rejection.
A no vote means
A no vote keeps the current 1963 constitution as it is. The question returns automatically in 16 years, in 2042.
