Michigan law requires utilities to reach 100% clean energy by 2040. If elected, would you support maintaining this law, or would you support revising or repealing it? Please explain your position.

More than two dozen Michigan communities are considering or have approved large-scale data center developments. These facilities can consume as much electricity as a small city and place significant demands on local water and energy infrastructure. What role should state government play in overseeing data center development, and what guardrails should the state legislature enact to protect communities where data centers are proposed?
I'm NOT NOT a fan of large - scale Data Centers Developments. or perhaps even ' small; ones.... Local people should be able to vote on this issue, **********These Data Centers consume way too much water and energy -- electricity,,,,,, also they be obsolete in a few years; While State government should play 'some' role in overseeing them, the local people , NOT so much local government, ***** the people ---should be able to VETO them; As far as so called 'guardrails' to protect communities where those centers are proposed, State Bureaucrats and State governments MUST give way to and respect what the majority of people want; State Government must MUST make sure local people who don't' want these centers don't have to pay to fight these SOB's.
PFAS contamination has been detected in drinking water, groundwater, and surface water across Michigan. Cleanup efforts are underway, but many affected communities are still waiting for action. What is the single most important step the officeholder in this position should take on PFAS in the next term?
PFAS in our water is NOT good and I will do what I can as State Senator to address this issue to keep our water safe and drinkable ; and wash with;;; and push hard to resolve the PFAS issue - with less talk talk and timely action ,,
Michigan residents in some communities face disproportionate exposure to air pollution, contaminated water, and industrial waste. Should elected officials play a greater role in holding utility companies accountable for rate hikes and rising energy costs?

Enbridge's Line 5 pipeline runs through the Straits of Mackinac and carries crude oil and natural gas liquids between Wisconsin and Ontario. A proposed tunnel beneath the lakebed to house a replacement pipeline has faced legal and regulatory challenges for years. What is your position on the future of Line 5?
I'm NOT a big an of Line 5 and since it looks like IT the Tunnel - will go through, I think it should be legislative (100%) FAIL SAFE and over engineered and over regulated; ***** Whole NOT a fan of more state regulations. or more bureaucracy; this is (line five ) an issue requiring ***** very strong oversight because once the Great Lakes and. the Mackinaw Straights are polluted, it will take many, many years to 'mend' them; I used to have a bumper sticker on my car. with the word's "In the end - Man polluted the Heaven and the Earth .... the LETTERING WAS OVER A GARBAGE DUMP. iF 'SOMEONE' WRITES a State Senate LEGISLATIVE BILL TO ADDRESS THE ABOVE. Drinking water is becoming increasingly unaffordable for Michiganders in both rural and urban areas, leading to water shutoffs. Would you support legislation that caps water bills for low-income Michiganders and adds shutoff protections?
Not sure how it would work and sounds like more Government in our lives; And where will the money to pay for 'this' come from??? I know someone who keeps having his water turned off because he has failed to pay his water bills; He is really lame with money. a real bad money. manager; and he works full time at a good job; and his wife is worse with money. than he is; ****Most of the time, the problem is with people who are bad money managers. and besides, 'poor' people have plenty of agencies, private and state, to seek help ,,,,,,without more state-governemnt interventions and spending more taxpayers money;
